Description
A sleeveless corduroy vest for big dogs, in mocha brown or matcha green. It covers the back and flanks, closes with a row of colour-matched snaps down the chest, and is bound in cream plush along the hem and both armholes. The plaid collar folds down over the corduroy and ties in a knot at one side. Five sizes, 3XL to 7XL, for chests about 28 to 36 in.
Cold mornings are the easiest reason to cut a walk short, and getting a coat onto a big dog is usually the reason the coat stops being used at all. This one goes over the head and closes with a row of snap studs down the chest, so there are no leg holes to step into and no sleeve to push a paw through.
It is a sleeveless vest. Each front leg swings through an open armhole with the corduroy ending cleanly at that edge and nothing crossing the shoulder. The body covers the back and down over both flanks and stops in a curved hem clear of the tail; the belly is left open.
Cream plush binding runs along that whole hem and around both armholes, so the edge that rests against your dog’s coat is soft rather than a cut seam. The plaid collar folds down over the corduroy and its two tails tie in a soft knot at one side, which you can draw in at the throat or leave loose.
Five sizes, 3XL to 7XL. The sizes are set by measurement rather than by weight, so check your dog’s neck, chest and back length against the size chart before you order.
This is a warm layer, not rain gear: the corduroy is not waterproof and there is no hood. It also has no leash ring, so keep using your dog’s own collar or harness.

Rinse or wipe down after wet walks and hang to dry away from direct heat — heat wears down the waterproof coating. Skip bleach, softener, and ironing.

How do I measure my pet for the right size?
Measure back length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail while your pet stands naturally, and chest girth at the widest point just behind the front legs. Compare both against the Size guide above.
My pet is between two sizes. Which should I choose?
Size up. A slightly roomier fit keeps shoulders free and makes it easier to get on and off; too snug restricts movement. And if it does turn out too roomy, swapping down a size is free.
Will it keep my pet dry in heavy rain?
The coated shell is built to shed steady rain on everyday walks. In prolonged downpours some moisture can eventually work through seams and openings, so towel off and hang it to dry after very wet outings.
How do I get an anxious pet used to wearing it?
Let them sniff it first, then start with short indoor sessions with treats before the first wet walk. Most pets settle once they connect it with going outside.
