Midday in July is still walk weather when the air inside keeps moving. Press the round button on the side module and the vortex fan behind its slatted grille starts pulling air through the cabin, while the readout under it — temperature, humidity, battery — tells you how it actually feels in there before you shoulder the pack.

The unpowered half does its share. Slotted vents line the smoked dome’s lower edge, a second tall grille stands opposite the fan, and a zippered mesh window opens the fabric side wide enough to reach in and put a hand on your pet without opening the shell. The dome is tinted on purpose: clear plastic broadcasts every passing dog and bicycle, while a smoked pane lets your cat watch the path with the glare turned down.

Against your back, three padded panels — two at the shoulder blades, one at the lumbar — sit over a rigid support board, high-density foam, and a honeycomb spacer fabric. That stack is what keeps 3.6 lb of moulded shell from riding like a plank. A widened top handle takes over when you would rather carry it by hand, an interior clip stays fastened to the harness at rest stops, and four moulded feet keep the shell level on bench boards. Bottle sleeve on one flank, key pocket on the strap, flat pocket for a phone.
